Frequently Asked Questions
Is this Daycare a Corporate Chain?
No, we are a Family-owned childcare. We have decades of experience with children and provide a small-family experience.
What is Step Up to Quality?
This is a State Qualified Certificate. Childcare Centers must meet certain standards of care with a strong commitment to safety and quality of care.
Is there an Enrollment Fee?
We do not charge an Enrollment Fee. We do charge an Infant Reservation Fee (start date in 3 or more weeks).
How do you keep parents informed throughout the day?
We utilize the Lillio app that parents download onto their phone. We report on the different activities, how they ate, diaper changes (and potty times for those who are potty training). We can also easily message through the Lillio app.
How do you ensure safety?
Our building is an open-concept building. Front door remains locked unless opened by a teacher. The Director and Assistant Directors are able to monitor every classroom by listening and seeing. All of our staff have regular background checks and at least 12 hours of continuing education annually. We are diligent in consistently monitoring all activities throughout the day. If someone other than the parent wishes to pick up your child, the Registration paperwork will have their name listed and then we must receive a message from you. We also take a copy of their Driver’s License.
What do you do to keep sickness from spreading?
We take the temperature of each child as they arrive. If they have a fever, they must stay home. We teach the children to wash their hands after using the potty, before meals, coming in from outside, when they arrive, and whenever their hands get dirty. Sleeping mats and crib sheets are not shared and are cleaned and sanitized daily. Toys are cleaned and sanitized daily and whenever placed in a mouth each evening.
What meals do you provide?
We provide Breakfast, Lunch and afternoon Snack. We follow the USDA nutritional guidelines. All meals are home-made recipes and are prepared on-site. For babies, we provide formula, baby food and baby snacks (Mom can bring frozen breastmilk if parents prefer). A Calendar of the Menu is provided through our Lillio app.
What options are there to pay?
We utilize the Lillio app where parents can pay using their bank account or debit/credit card. A weekly invoice is sent through the app and you will have all the records of payments with a click of a button.
What are your hours?
We operate Monday thru Friday 6:30am to 5:30pm. Children may stay up to 10 hours in a day.
